De los Santos: Solid liberal Some political influences would probably be my family and the way they raised me, plus outside information. I've done voting and been in some protests but nothing too extensive. I am taking this class because I have to, but also because it's been a while since I've had a government class and it's pretty important to know the roots of what our government is and what it has become today. I'd like to expand my knowledge of government by the end of this class, even if not all of it is retained. I got Tribune for the civic literacy quiz, which means I got half of the questions right. Not my best, I know. For the Current events quiz I got a little over half right, so not too much better than the other quiz. I could definitely have done better on both.
